Nitroxinil is a drug used in animals like cattle, goats, sheep etc.., to remove flukes and worms. It is one of the veterinary medicine. Its chemical class is halogenated phenol. It is used as a main parasitic controller for controlling liver flukes and nematodes. It is a less toxic and oral type of medicine and the dosage amount will be depending on each country. The dosage of medicine depends on the weight of the animal. For 25kg we should use 1ml, second injection should be given 3 weeks later time to the first injection. Just like other drugs this is also preferred to store in cool and dark places. Once the cattle is injected with the medicine then the meat of that particular cattle should not be taken for next sixty days and if it is sheep then we should avoid it for 40 nine days even milk also not advisable to take.
